About Oban

Oban seafront

Oban ("the little bay" in Gaelic) is a small town on the west coast of Scotland. Despite Oban’s small size, it is a busy town particularly in tourist season. This is due to Oban being the “Gateway to the Isles”. Oban has also been branded the “Seafood Capital of Scotland” due to the variety and quality of seafood landed in the harbour.

The Oban and Lorn Tourism Association have placed three webcams around Oban to allow people to view Oban’s beautiful harbour and the views out towards the Islands. Click here
